Plant Care Specialist - Part Time
Role Description
Plantitas Verdes is seeking a Plant Care Specialist to assist with our maintenance accounts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and customer service, can work independently, and is driven to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
Visit clients on a routine basis to provide maintenance care for their plants. This includes watering and fertilizing, pruning and pest management, as well as cleaning, repotting, and replacing plants as needed.
Carry provided plant care supplies, occasionally lifting heavy plants and planters, climbing ladders to reach tall trees and plants, and keeping track of needed supplies.
Communicate plant-related updates and maintain high quality customer service with our clients.
Assist with administrative tasks and other work as needed.
A typical day begins when you leave your home for your first client and ends once you’ve completed your daily route.
Required Qualifications
Reliable transportation (w/ driver’s license and car insurance)
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Must have experience with plant care and customer service
Wages & Hours
$22/hour. Roughly 10-15 hours per week. Potential to increase.
Mileage reimbursed.
